Head of Operations for Online Commerce & Delivery Platform

Key Responsibilities:

  • To monitor merchant sales performance
  • To supervise and manage the end-to-end operation team of the online commerce and delivery platform
  • To create and build up good relationship between company and merchant to create loyalty business partner
  • To monitor coordination of order processing, delivery and returns of customer orders
  • Work with internal teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns and provide recommendations in optimizing user experience to improve marketing performances
  • Creative, plan & brainstorm for marketing proposal / ideas / suitable marketing strategies to enhance corporate branding, bonding between clients, etc
  • Generating mass leads for Juru platforms through holistic paid-owned-earned media including but not limited to our platform, social media, PR, mass media, etc
  • Monitor competitor activities and research around the different ideas, campaigns, marketing channels & marketing strategies
  • Negotiate with merchant to get best solution which benefit both company and merchant
  • Establish and monitor implementation of internal and external controls across all operational processes with appropriate resolution of identified issues
  • Lead, Supervise and provide guidance to junior executive to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and accurately for timely reporting.
  • Review and check work done by the members of department to ensure accuracy of the prior to submission to management for review
  • Establish and lead execution of operation strategy by setting and achieving key performance targets for: sales, marketing, product portfolio, distribution, delivery, cost, expenses, and other measurements of operational performance
  • Identify, create, and develop new market opportunities, coming up with successful business proposal that secure new deals and long-term relationships
  • Support and lead company products sales, growth, and continuous cost & quality improvements in the business
  • Manage all sales related activities covering setting and strictly monitoring of sales targets, industry developments and ensures accurate delivery of products in all sales channels and maintaining compliance


Requirements:

  • A degree from a recognized university in related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of managerial experience in F&B (Food & Beverages) and retail industry with at least 3 years’ experience in managing operations of online delivery platforms
  • Able to lead the operations team effectively with strong manpower development and succession planning
  • Able to communicate well in English and Malay (Fluent in Mandarin will be an added advantage).
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
